Cases, cases, cases… How do they work and what is the best approach to a case-based exam, such as the SOA? Whether you are an experienced writer already familiar with the difficulty of the exam, or experiencing it for the first time, your goal is to pass the SOA in 2014; this is the last year the exam will be offered. If you are not successful writing it in June 2014, you have one last opportunity during the make-up exam in November 2014.

1. Workshops – Our workshops are renowned for their effectiveness in getting you on the right track. Our small-size group environment allows instructors to provide each student with a high-level of individual attention. You will be guided through drills and techniques that are specifically designed to develop your SOA skills. Many years of one-on-one coaching have allowed us to fully understand students’ common pitfalls. We know that students can have a hard time letting go of their books and focusing on case-analysis. But we also know how important the latter is and that is why we focus on it!
2. Coaching –  If you need to hone your case-analysis and case-writing skills, we offer one-on-one coaching sessions. The structure and goals of your sessions will greatly depend on your specific strengths and weakness, which can mean weekly meetings or just one or two sessions before the actual exam.
3. Marking – Our experienced markers are always on stand-by to provide you extensive feedback on your practice papers. We also help you to stay on track and offer a package designed specifically for SOA writers – SOAr package – that will require you to submit simulations on a specific date.
