“I found the workshop very helpful in preparing for the UFE. I liked the small class size – allows for interaction and easier to ask questions. Daily drills – allows you to apply the skils that were discussed”
Anonymous, 2013 workshop participant
“I appreciated having a mentor that was accessible. I thought the coaching was great and I appreciated the variety of markers.”
Jason T, 2012
“[The most beneficial part of working with exaMENTOR was] tips given by my mentor to some specific study tips via email – thank you! Overall useful tips given by all exam markers (including the motivational tips and good comments re improvements)”
exaMENTOR candidate, 2011
“exaMENTOR exceeded my expectations – both my mentor and most of the markers provided in-depth insight into case writing process.”
Vasily R., 2012
“The best thing about hiring exaMENTOR was having someone there to ask questions to. I didn’t feel like I was alone through the process. It was good to have someone that you can trust that knows more than you and provides good solutions to your problems.”
Elizabeth W., 2012
“The marked simulations and comps provided me with specific feedback which could be applied in future cases and used to assess progress. Additionally, I liked the combination of a marked online approach as well as one-on-one tutoring.”
Thomas D., 2012
“…My firm has internal training for the UFE, and the markers only gave a general comment on each indicator that I have performed. However, ExaMENTOR takes time to mark my paper thoroughly, which helped me a lot.”
exaMENTOR candidate, 2012
“Great feedback that is UFE relevant and good for case writing. I went through a Masters program that tried to teach us case writing but, honestly, the feedback was much more realistic and efficient through exaMENTOR. Not having firm training or a prep program, this was crucial for me.”
exaMENTOR candidate, 2011
“The markers provide timely and constructive feedback which helped me to understand clearly what I did well and what I had to work on.”
exaMENTOR candidate, 2011
“I just want to commend you on conducting a wonderful three day session. It was invaluable and provided me with critical tools and valuable exercise which jump-started my prep for the UFE in September…. I found the method, approach and personal attention that you gave to be the most valuable and educational experience during this UFE process. The sessions felt personalized with one-on -one attention and I liked how you adapted the curriculum to meet the areas where we need the guidance, while at the same time providing a focus for all of to take with us after the sessions. It was a very good mix of case writing, take up, and identification and application of vital writing skills. Overall, it was a great value for money and a framework that I will mimic and apply during the personal UFE studies.”
Lyle, 2013 workshop participant
“Helped me realize how a marker’s mind works when going through my markers comments. This made me want to improve my case writing skills so that it was easy for the marker to follow my responses, and give me marks! Overall, I gained a real understanding of how to properly set up responses, how to read cases w/focus, and what a marker likes to see in a response. Thank you again, Mentors!”
exaMENTOR candidate, 2010
“Very useful comments provided to me on sim’s sent for marking. Not only do you, [exaMENTOR], point out weaknesses but explain in detail how to address those weaknesses and thus, adds significant value. I would highly recommend this service to others…”
