This service is designed to address candidates’ specific needs above and beyond the one-off email question, and is structured to address candidate’s areas for improvement.

Can a coach help with case-writing? A coach is available to review the candidate’s response and highlight his/her strengths, weaknesses and overall tendencies in case writing. The coach will also go over in detail any specific questions the candidate may have.

How about critical-reading? Many candidates report feeling uncertain whether he/she is reading effectively and is indeed applying critical-reading skills even after a UFE prep course. The coach would go through a critical-reading exercise to determine where the candidate’s weak areas are in reading. We call this exercise “Observe, pinpoint, recommend.” That is, the coach will specifically pinpoint where the candidate’s weaknesses in reading are by observing the candidate during the exercise. Recommendations are then put forward to remedy the weaknesses.

Plan of action! The coach will also help finalize each candidate’s study plan to take into consideration his/her study habits, availability and work schedule, as well as weaknesses and strengths.
